Company is a 10 year old well-established installer of seamless gutters serving the roofing, retail market, new construction, remodeling and storm damage areas primarily in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex and all surrounding counties. Rain gutters and downspouts protect buildings, foundations and landscaping from water damage. Seamless aluminum gutters make up the vast majority of the market. The company primarily installs 5” and 6” aluminum K-style gutters. (5” K-style gutters are the typical standard gutter found on a home; 6” are usually installed on larger roofs.) The company also installs leaf guards as well as half round gutters and rounded down spouts. Services include repair and maintenance of existing gutter systems, too. The founder started the business in 2006 as a home-based business. As the business grew, the owner expanded into a 1,600 shop/office. The owner feels that a major advantage over competitors is the seniority of workers. More than 1/2 of the workers average approximately 7 yrs seniority. The 5 crews, are professional and are a major asset to the company. The customers are happy with the service and committed to using the company. The owner feels that a hard-working owner, dedicated to the company, can easily replace the current owner.
The company does no outside advertising other than signage on their trucks/trailers. The company receives referrals from an estimated 150+ contractors. Several sales-service techs follow up on the leads generated through word of mouth referrals. The owner feels that the business could grow faster by adding a sales person calling on builders and contractors.

The owner estimates that seamless gutters are 80% of sales, leaf guards 15% and specialty half round gutters 5%. The average job takes approximately 2 hours to install. The owner estimates that the customer base is 40-50% roofers, 30-40% retail residential, 10% home builders/remodelers. The customer base is diversified with the largest customer (roofer) estimated at 11% of total sales and the top 10 customers generating approximately 35% of total sales.
Purchase Price: The asking price for the assets of the business is $750,000 All Cash and the seller Prefers To sell for All Cash. The seller will consider seller financing at a price of $900,000 with $300,000 down and $600,000 seller financing for 5 years at 6% interest with approximate monthly payments of $11,600 to a purchaser qualified/approved by the seller. All financing is to be personally guaranteed. The assets include inventory at cost of $10,000, Accounts Receivables valued at $100,000 and FFEV (Furniture, Fixtures, Equipment and Vehicles) valued at $100,000. The price will be adjusted for actual inventory, work in process (WIP) and accounts receivables as of the sale date.
